Best Western Premier Grand Monarque Hotel & Spa

Very beautiful furnishings and ambience. Spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and plush linens. Staff very friendly. Good location right in the center of town. The welcome muffins in the room were yummy. You get slippers, robes, and large bath towels.

The hotel is located in the center of Chartres just a short hop from the Cathedral and the City Center. The Staff is very nice and helpful. The make you feel that you matter to them. The room and bath room are very spacious, and equipped with everything necessary. Bedding is comfortable with a good mattress and a large choice of pillows. The buffet breakfast (19 euros) is outstanding with a large variety of food. I had dinner at La Cour restaurant (reserve with time if you want to have dinner at a decent time). I had a soup, a large salad and mineral water for about 30 euros. Everything was rather good. Private parking costs 10 euros a night.

Nice hotel in the centre of the town, at walking distance from the renown cathedral. Hosted in an elegant setting, the room fulfils the expectations for this kind of accommodation. The most remarkable room feature was an old-fashioned (but perfectly functioning) bath tube. The breakfast includes a large variety of good-quality options. A dinner at the nearby one Michelin star "Georges" restaurant is highly recommended. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient.

Because the air conditioning didn't work in the room we were initially given, we were shown to another which was equally if not more beautiful. Loved the way the roof beams became a real feature. Reception staff were lovely and really helpful. We had a drink in the bar but it took quite a long time to attract anyone's attention to get served despite staff passing to and fro.

The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. Dinner was superb and we enjoyed sitting outside with a drink from the bar prior to our meal. The room was comfortable with an excellent ensuite. The cathedral is a short walk away.
